. What size Stamping Punch is used on the Vin Plates? . 1/4" seems too large. 1/8" too small. I can not find 3/16" stamps for comparison.

Without going to the workshop the plates on my Aus 38 truck were stamped with 1/4" stamps but may be different in the US.

. Hi Tony, Thank you for reply. The space on Repro plate appears smaller than original. Your Holden should be similar. .

They may be 3/16". I ran into that issue as well. I ended up using 1/4" on mine. I keep my original in the glove box in case a curious LEO asks about it.
