What is the proper plug gap for the 79 350?

Please provide some more info. What is the model? What is the engine code? Corvette vs. Nova or Malibu, etc. probably have different plug gaps.

If you have the original HEI distributor... the proper gap for 1979 will almost certainly be .045" regardless of the application.
